Welcome to the home of Apple Valley Astronomers, in the Wenatchee valley. We are a small group of people who enjoy observing the night sky and discovering new things. We get out once or twice a month to observe and always have an invitation open to anyone that wants to learn and enjoy looking at objects in our universe.

We lost a good friend today the 24th of Aug. Brad Hitzel passed away after a short battle with brain cancer. Brad was diagnosed last April with a tumor and it turned out to be about as bad as a person can get. Brad carried on the best he could for the last year and finally the tumor overwhelmed him. |
